That the proper term was in fact “violet” and that “purple” was a color made up by the Minnesota Vikings. Well, we finally got around to doing our research. Our art teacher was wrong. Purple is totally a thing (based on the Latin word for purple dye). Don’t get us wrong; so is violet. As a matter of fact, purple and violet are usually used for two slightly different shades of the same color. Purple is typically a bit redder, and violet leans more towards blue on the color wheel. For most people, however, the words have become interchangeable. (So don’t worry about it). Now that that’s settled, we’re happy to present to you our Purple Short Bob Wig.
